At the end of the day, who are we to tell someone what their sexuality is? Regardless of what you believe, it isn’t our business. As long as she’s supporting the lgbtq+ community, that’s all I care about.

Honestly, a lot of people are probably bi without realizing it. Just because you never have sex with both sexes doesn't mean you aren't bi.

I'd obviously love it if she dated a woman but she doesn't have to do it for me. She might like guys 90% and women 10% but that still means she's bi  maybe it was a bit more 50/50 when she was younger but she's realizing she's romantically attracted to men... But that doesn't mean she isn't bi  I mean if you have only been with women your whole life and at 40 you realize you enjoy looking at a men's body - you are probably bi.

Honestly, the labels are useless. It's all a spectrum. I know gay men who will have sex with their girl friends but they still identify as gay. It doesn't ****ing matter

I've struggled so much with my sexuality.  I felt extremely limited when I've been definied by others as a lesbian because I do feel myself attracted to men but I prefer women. So I do identify identify as bi. But I have also met the most resistence when identifying as bi. 

During my undergrand I got a new group of friends and I never told them I was bi because one of my friends flat out said during a conversation how she could not understand how people could be bi. She said that she understood that you could like either men or women but God could not justify someone liking both. She said that she tought God belived bi's to be an abomination to God.

After that statement I felt deflated. That's not really an environment where you feel confortable talking about your own sexuality.  

I hate the fact that you have to fit yourself into tiny boxes for other people to think that's how they can understand you. People are people regardless of how they identify. If you want to judge someone, do it based on their personality not by their sexuality.

If the spectrum is that skewed, you’re heteroflexible, not bisexual.

It’s totally her own fault though  She’s just too inconsistent. She’s referred to herself as straight three times and then always reverts back to that weird ‘I like girls sometimes’ position which doesn’t make it any better. 

She’s probably bi but only like 10%.

I remember her shouting "us straights" into the audience during an artRAVE concert, she called herself an ally during her Pulse speech and she said she wasn't a gay woman and not fully part of the gay community on Drag Race.

Those are all open to interpretation in principle but the point is that in these occasions she actively chose to not identify as a bisexual. Hence the confusion.

The bi-ignorance in this world is abysmal  . From what I've experienced (I'm a bi male ) the younger generation ( younger as in my age and younger ) seems to deal with it. The older one ( like my mom  ) still seems to think in black and white, that you're either straight or gay. And if you say you're bi they say 'You have to decide for being either straight or gay'  .

Joking aside though, I try to be the best ally I can to the LGBTQ community and it really bothers me when someone’s sexuality is presumed based on the partner they chose. 

It was also the way this person said it “oh she’s not Bi ANYMORE” like wtf? Like sexuality is just something someone is for a period of time...

I'm a girl, I have only ever been in a relationship with a girl and my friends just can't believe that I'm also attracted to boys just because I never talk about it. I usually find girls a lot more attractive physically so I talk more about that, but the thing is, I'm 99% more attracted to boys emotionally.

What does it mean when she said I sometimes like girls? I believe that is why people are getting confused. If she is bi then she’s bi. Saying sometimes she likes girls confused me

It means she mainly likes men but sometimes likes women. Is it that confusing?
