Heal Me on the other hand, has such a pristine and ethereal production, and Gaga has never been better in her falsetto. Her vocals are heavenly. Inferno 2,880 Posted June 30, 2019 Share Posted June 30, 2019 The Cure gets a bad rep with fans and I kind of get it, its very algorithmic, very un-Gaga in certain respects. But in others its not, to me it was like her Eh Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) of 2017. A light cute summer bop that similar to Eh Eh, gets zero credibility commercially or within the fanbase because of its lightness. She also gave us vocals that up until that point, we really hadn't been hearing from her so in that respect it was refreshing to me. Yes Gaga can give us beasts like Judas but she can also serve something kind of "basic" like The Cure and make it sound good. I like that. I think it and Heal Me are both pleasant but The Cure to me is a little more....successful at being what it is. I think Heal Me drags on a little long. The Cure is short and sweet as it should be.
