It's pathetic, ignorant, and annoying. Ideas are often taking the backseat now with many people. It's often seem to be all about a character like if it was mainly a casting way before to be about a program. I hate that too. 2 hours ago, Timmers said: I don't think being a soldier with an unsuccessful stint as mayor of a medium-size city is enough to be trusted to run the United States of America. It seems like a pretty light background to run a country indeed but because of this "character thing" I believe one can easily get a pass for it now. 5 hours ago, Delusional Aura said: I know alot of you support Kamala but she has a really shady past That's something that will stop her indeed. She gonna have several super shady-looking positions from her time as California AG to explain if she wants her campaign to really take off. She tried to explain one or two but it didn't seem to convince folks that much.

Why would you vote for someone like him when you have Bernie and Warren? Personally, I prefer Warren to Sanders. They have similar platforms, but so much of Bernie's policies rely on him getting his tax hike passed. What if that doesn't happen? Warren's got a plan for that! So I like that. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt despite hearing horror stories for months -- I live a couple hours away so these are more accessible to me than the GP I guess. The reason he lost points with me is that admitting that he failed puts all of the blame back on him and ruins the one good piece of government work he had going for him, aside from being in the military. I don't think being a soldier with an unsuccessful stint as mayor of a medium-size city is enough to be trusted to run the United States of America. Do you disagree? Second question: I 100% AGREE. I can't say anything about supporting Bernie or Warren on FB because the gays in my city (again, two hours from South Bend) don't want to hear anything about the candidates that isn't directly related to supporting Pete. It's pathetic, ignorant, and annoying. Was it unsuccessful, though? I mean, I know lots of South Bend people and they love him and think he's done a good job. I'd say it's mixed at best (I also live close by). I think it’s still good of him to admit he just couldn’t get it done and own up to it, but I’d wish the lowest tier candidates wouldn’t ask questions that they know are stupid just to try and have their zinger moment. “Just fire him!” You know full well that that could not have been done given that an investigation is ongoing. “Well why not xyz” because of the law. There’s a reason that Kamala Harris’s response didn’t so much dig at Pete as it was a springboard to jump into a Biden criticism which is actually a valid one. Personally, I think these are overblown problems come to light to stem his rise. They’re problems, but if you look at the details, it’s evident why they’re so murky and difficult to solve not just for a mayor but presidential hopeful. You can't do everything and please everyone. Firing the black police chief? I get why he had to do it despite the whistleblower tendencies. You can't have a police chief breaking the law, period. I totally agree with what the guy did, but as mayor how would that go? That's a real catch 22. He’s really just in a bad situation that the media is pouring salt in because they couldn’t find any other unlikability in him after building him up for months. And even with this, they’re still struggling to get it to catch with audiences that weren’t already somewhat looking for that Achilles heel in Buttigieg. Imo we should look at real, legitimate disqualifying qualities in a candidate not a murky scandal that is super complex with no easy solution for the decision-makers involved. As a Muslim Arab that liked Bernie, seeing him support Hilary who is known for her illegal wars against us I could not see any excuse for it. He kept saying that Trump is dangerous when the real dangerous person was the person he voted for.

These are both prime examples of everything wrong with elections right here. Identity politics at their finest: people only voting for a candidate on the basis of their ethnicity, gender, or sexuality is an ill informed decision. Not to say I’m not happy with the progress made in diversifying the Democratic candidate pool, because it is truly incredible that we have non-white, female, and LGBTQ candidates! I just wish people would also look into their choice candidate’s policies, voting history, and track records and compare it against other candidates’. Also, this doesn’t exclude people voting for white and/or male candidates—looking @ you Biden
REALITY 80,184
I like Buttigieg. Right now I'm either Warren, Bernie, or Harris (especially after last night's debate), but I'd put Buttigieg in that third/fourth place right now. They are both dangerous and I do not like any of them. Bernie is the one who picked sides and tried to imply that Hilary is not dangerous. But ill say this, id rather have Trump foreign policy over Hilary. Trump said American wars are illegal and criminal. He refuse to go to war with Syria, Iran, and venezuela. If he completes his first term of presidency without war, he would be the first president in decades to go a whole term without a war. His voters are extremely anti war while Hilary voters ask for wars. The only thing im worried about his foreign policy is he has all the neocon bush people in his office like John Bolton and Mike Pompeo so I think he will start a war soon or atleast on his second term..
