Delusional Aura 5,129
There it is guys...I think supporting Pete Buttigieg for 2020. This answer was the best out of all for the first issue he wants to tackle as president He is clear and concise on his stance on Climate Change He's a veteran, so he knows the importance of our military. Again he's a veteran who trained using military weapons so i have no doubt that his policies on Gun Control will be anything less than spectacular while at the same time protecting our 2A right He believes only those who need help with student loans should be helped (low income and middle income families) He dragged the Republicans for its hypocrisy on religion. So let's get in formation and support him guys. I know alot of you support Kamala but she has a really shady past with convicting her own people which is another story for another time. She dragged Biden tonight but failed to recognized what she did to her own people as a persecutor. Bernie, i felt his time was in 2016 but the DNC did him dirty and i'm just not fired up like i once was for him. For me it's really between Bernie, Kamala and Pete. I like Pete. This is my opinion and by no way am i forcing anyone to vote for someone. I'm just saying we should pay close attention to him.

Whispering 18,865
I’m thinking that he is more in line for the VP position. (although I have him in my top four for Pres.) Imagine him debating that smug homophobe of the current VP!

Antoni 5,332
He was in my top 3 until he addressed his shortcomings as mayor by saying that he didn't get the job done. Before the debates, my top 3 were Bernie, Warren, and Pete. Now my top 3 are Warren, Kamala, and Bernie. Kamala is the only candidate who has stood up to Biden, so far the only candidate who has shown how they will attempt to stand up to Trump. 1 hour ago, Delusional Aura said: You called him the Gay Obama. Batwings 12,957
I am a huge Buttigieg fan, and I would love to vote for him as president. That being said, I think maybe his chances of getting elected would be stronger a few years from now.

And your friends are fans of a potential president simply because of his sexuality? These are both prime examples of everything wrong with elections right here. And your friends are fans of a potential president simply because of his sexuality? These are both prime examples of everything wrong with elections right here. First question: The general consensus was that we didn't have all of the information about what was going on in South Bend. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt despite hearing horror stories for months -- I live a couple hours away so these are more accessible to me than the GP I guess. The reason he lost points with me is that admitting that he failed puts all of the blame back on him and ruins the one good piece of government work he had going for him, aside from being in the military. I don't think being a soldier with an unsuccessful stint as mayor of a medium-size city is enough to be trusted to run the United States of America. Do you disagree? Second question: I 100% AGREE. I can't say anything about supporting Bernie or Warren on FB because the gays in my city (again, two hours from South Bend) don't want to hear anything about the candidates that isn't directly related to supporting Pete. It's pathetic, ignorant, and annoying. My name isn't Timmers
