I really love how respectful they are of each other and how much they admire each other. Not saying they will end up together, but those things are key to a lasting relationship. Also, when I met my husband I said the same thing about feeling like I had known him forever, so...

This is a good question. It could be hard to figure out how to get started or build a romantic relationship on top of such a deep friendship, intense artistic experience, and intense promotion/awards season. They may be wary of risking the connection they have. If they don't get together I wouldn't be surprised if this is the reason (not that we will ever know).

And logistically it's got to be tough with paparazzi stalking their every move. It's not like they can just casually hang out and see what happens. Bradley can't go see his daughter at her mother's house without a ton of speculation, so even getting together in the same space at this point might be tough. It's a lot of pressure. But they're both smart and emotionally intelligent, I'm sure they can figure it out.

Exactly. It’s cringe AF, BUT at the same time, they both been telling anyone who will listen how in love they are. At some point, the joke is on us for not seeing it.

Yep. I don't care how many millions of dollars a studio spends on the promo of a movie or how well coached the stars are to help fuel romance rumors to stir interest in the film, they don't require that you tell people how in love with each other you are. Which these two did repeatedly FOR months. Not to mention the hand holding. I can't imagine someone telling two very grown adults that they have to do that and them actually go along with it. He never did that with any other co-star. I kinda think they used the promo tour as a test run for if they were an actual couple.

 

My only issue with them is that this is FAR from the first time Bradley will have had a romance with a costar. I know Gaga & Bradley met differently and they developed this movie together, they were not just cast to play the roles, but if this is just another woman on the roster for him and all of it was acting on his part then I hope they don't get together. She wears her heart on her sleeve to much for something like that. I think she would end up heartbroken

This may sound corny but watching that video (and A Star is Born) made me fall in love with my husband all over again. Whether it is a platonic or romantic love, these two ooze intimacy ❤️❤️

It'd be a bold strategy to make the entire world wish for them to get together over months of buildup and then be like, "Here y'all go, we're super in love, we're just giving you what you want." 

If they announce a relationship, the gossip and the romantic in me would LOVE to know how it all went down but we'll probably never get the full story.

I've had similar thoughts. It seems like Bradley's grown a lot (getting sober, his dad dying, having a kid, going through this huge creative process) so I hope he'd treat Gaga differently. We can all be fooled by someone but I really really hope he's as amazing as Gaga says he is. At least we know he has good taste by instantly falling in love with Gaga's talent and face and wanting to keep her in his life until he dies (the quotes from this video... they're ridiculous y'all ).

I am of the opinion that Bradley has no soulmate because his only emotions are whatever will further his career, and that he is an empty shell beyond that. But that's just, like, my opinion man.

Agree. To me their interviews read as trying to convince themselves that they aren't in love with each other. Maybe they really did believe that 'platonic artistic soulmates' stuff for a while. But then the breakups started

I think he had never met anyone who really challenged him until now. I think he is taken aback by how talented, smart, funny, multi faceted and driven she is. He has said multiple times that he has never met anyone with her work ethic, artistry, kind heart, etc... I think the same goes for her. She has always said she likes bad boys. Bradley Cooper is a lot of things, but not that. They really do seem to see the best in each other and if they are as smitten as they seem it could be a really good relationship for both of them. I could see them bringing out the best in each other. One more thing is he does not seem threatened by her or her talent and that takes a pretty big man. I think that has been hard for her to find.
