elijahfan 24,929
Yeeeesss great thread idea!! Really hope to see some vintage McQueen, Gaultier, Mugler and some Galliano Dior on this carpet. For more recent designs, Gucci will be well-represented I suppose, since Alessandro Michele is co-chair and his aesthetic is pretty much custom made for this theme. The latest incredible Viktor & Rolf couture dresses are also just meant to be worn there.

She'd be perfect for a theme exploring the links between fashion and nature tho.

ChromeAngel 3,230
Drag is a better example of camp. Not all, but a lot of the crazy drag looks are camp. A lot of what Gaga has done in her career, especially older looks from TF, TFM and BTW are camp. Think the bubble dress, Kermit dress, Judas looks, telephone ect. It’s literally PERFECT for Gags because she’s probably the single most iconic people EVER to embrace that style

Crazy, theatrical, over the top. Outfits that will basically make the gays gag. They definitely are. Even if it's just the colours. Watch like Selena and Miley turn up in just a pink sequin dress. Then come back to this thread. I don’t see anything of bad taste or ironic value about the iris van harpen dress...by your logic anything that is avant-garde is camp which is not the case

Also camp is stereotypically homosexual and I was thinking of anything that would WOW the gay community too. Like I say Miss Anna Wintour, watch everyone flock in to the Met Gala dressed in Iris Van Harpen and basic pink sequin dresses and then come back to this thread
Schizophonic 7,015
remember when she wore "no pants" pants? unfortunally i cant find pictures but it was basically a non existing pants saying "no" ... i think it was a bodypaint.
