Gaga's robotic voice

Have you ever noticed this? Especially during the Fame era she used to sing in a tone that made her sound like a robot. And i don't mean this like a bad thing, it's pretty cool actually. I also think that Just Dance sounds better when sung like that.

I hate to say this, but she was straining from drug use.

I actually don't hear it in these, I thought this was going to be about the low monotone voice she sometimes does in her songs like:

Really? I mean, take a listen to her poker face performance on Ellen, at 1:58. She sounds kinda robotic to me.

Also, that's a really good example too.

i think she sounds very robotic in the bridge of ARTPOP, brooklyn nights, and all through out mary jane holland tbh, & i love it

exactly, drugs made her voice change into this deep husky tone within months, the change is so drastic, her was was never the same as in 2007, but she worked hard and made it even better

I think she sounds more robotic on Mary Jane Holland and Applause tbh.

Oh right I get what you mean but that's because the song is meant to be sung that way right? I also think there's autotune because she sounds almost too on key haha
