So about this whole GAGA situation

Okay, so I voiced my opinion on this in some of the other threads

Anyways, why are some of you acting like this ain't the literal start of LG6's promotion. This is not just some vague something like those pictures from August that could have meant anything from an album photoshoot to a "Haus Beauty"(lol) photoshoot. It's a literal image on all her social media layouts of the tattoo she just got made, and the words GAGA underneath it. Oh and that pregnant with LG6 tweet. 

I knooow that some of ya'll want to be "careful" and don't wanna look naive, but girl this ain't no egg, no mysterious photoshoot and sure as hell no rumour. OH and don't get me started on that "bUT sHallLOw is StiLL!! rIsiNG!!11!" BS.

It's just that this fanbase had gone through many meltdowns by getting hyped for new music everytime Gaga "breathes"

To be honest, because it's not the first time Gaga does these changes and little hints and nothing happens  there might be something, but after years of being a fan you still believe these rumours whenever Gaga changes something in her social media and that is delusional. Even if it means something, the chances are not that high. I really, really don't understand how you fans keep assuming these things after years of Gaga doing the opposite.

She did tattoos after the announcements.

She releases a picture with an announcement, it is not Gaga style at all to do these "let's release a picture or a tattoo without saying anything".

She never enjoys her current popularity to release something. Seriously, she does something that catapults her to the top (performances, appearances), and then nothing 

She usually releases the album in Q4 of the year and the lead single a few months before. BTW was the only exception, and it was announced almost a year before.

 

Again, this might be something, who knows for now, but the probability is actually super low, unlike some are arguing.

After being a fan for a decade now even if she says something it doesn't mean it will happen. It does seem like it could be the launch of a new album promo cycle but until she announces it we can just wait...its coming which is why it makes it that much more desirable.

Were you around last August? When she released these Eli photos every 2 days and this whole cult site got from super excited (with literal countdown threads  ) to mega meltdowns (with countdown threads turning into meltdown threads). And to prevent that we keep our hopes relatively low this time  .

At first I thought they wouldn’t just cut off the enigma branding since more shows are coming up.

But then I thought maybe they are going to have new promo material for the next run, no indication of a new album necessarily. The change could just be a nice placeholder.

But then I was like, why would they switch up a show’s branding half way through??

Also this time it seems to call back to that photoshoot in August (with the G A G A captions), where as at the time the shoot just dropped out of nowhere.

She spoiled us with BTW hype and promo, and then broke us with AP, LG5/Joanne, and even between LG6 and ASIB. We are jaded now

True but in the past she also didn’t have other commitments like a residency, movie and promo, makeup line, etc. that might impact her music’s release schedule. Plus, I feel like we can’t even factor in AP since that release date got moved a few times before landing where it did. It wasn’t like that was where it originally was supposed to be.
