Judas is a better song than Speechless tbh. The studio version of Speechless is kinda eh, off, I love it, but I prefer Teeth over it. However, I prefer the live version of Speechless! Even though, I would still pick Judas over the live version.

Judas wasn't a flop though, it did better than You and I, Million Reasons, and Do What U Want..

Judas had a peak of 10 with 8 weeks on the charts and it's sales are estimated around 2.6 mil. It did not manage to get on the year end chart

Yoü And I had a peak of 6 with 20 weeks on the charts and it's sales are estimated around 3 mil. It managed to get on the year end chart at 71.

Million Reasons had a peak of 4 with 20 weeks on the charts and it's sales are estimated around 1.5 mil. It did not manage to get on the year end charts.

Do What You Want had a peak of 13 with 19 weeks on the charts and it's sales are estimated around 3.5 mil. It managed to get on the year end chart at 84.

Only Million Reasons performed worse than Judas the rest did better. And yes Judas is her first flop.

Considering you only looked at the US peaks. Those songs did better in the US, but please look at other peaks. Judas peaked in the top 10 in over 30 countries. While Million Reasons only peaked in the top 10 in 7 countries, Do What U Want peaked in the top 10 in 22 countries and You and I didn't peak in some countries while Judas did, like Spain and Italy. It reached the top 10 in only 9 countries while Judas reached and/or debuted in the top 10 in 33 countries. Also, Judas is her 5th most watched music video on Youtube and it beats You and I and Million Reasoms by 100,000,000 more views...Not a flop, was it more popular or as popular as her previous singles...no, but considering all of this, it didn't flop.

Judas easily out of the two.

That being said, Venus should have been like, top four at least.

The thing is nearly nobody remembers Judas (and Yoü And I) but Million Reasons and especially Do What You Want are very popular. Do What You Want was for example requested when i playd music by Gaga and when the playlist went onto Judas they asked what the hell this is. Million Reasons might be commericially less succesful but more impactful. Million Reasons peaked in Germany at 85 for one week (really disappointing) but over a year later a the song got sung in a casting show and the soared up in sales. Judas was also in my point of view the reason why Gagas following Era (ARTPOP) did not as well as expected. Btw Judas peaked at 23 in Germany and was 9 weeks in the charts which was a huge spiral downwards after 8 consecutive top 10 hits 4 number ones at that.

I don't know. Maybe a lot of GGD members have super religious parents who they want to piss off?
