I don't think she wants to be connected to the character too much and have people say she's playing herself since the music seems similar to Joanne. The only thing she can release is a standalone single. There’s no time for an actual album release or even a EP release before the movie. And since there are rumours she’s gonna do the bloodpop collab then it’s probably gonna be it along with Joanne World Tour dvd/Netflix. The movie was pushed back and it messed up her schedule imo. EDIT and I'm pretty sure they did not say there is a DIC video. It was considered to be a single - that's all I can recall anyone said, but it was scrapped due to The Cure's release. I'm just saying his tweets from yesterday are just useless. He said 'don't expect anything to come' then to say five minutes later 'I didn't say anything is coming from LG6'.
