The long-running "Now That's What I Call Music!" franchise is on course for its 16th No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, as "Now 43" should debut atop the list next week.

Industry sources suggest that the set will sell perhaps 110,000 to 120,000 copies by the end of the tracking week on Aug. 12. It was the only major album that was released this week, so it has a clear lane to No. 1.

I love listening to Adult Contemporary Radio

They always play the f**k out of You & I  :legend::worship:

I like Ushers new single :)

Scream wasn't a flop, it may not have had the sales, but radio loved it. Trust me.

Climax flopped though

Ia. Scream is probably one of the best song out in months that's been doing well on radio over here...

As of December 2011, "Our Song" has sold 2,879,000 copies in the United States.

Klou's right it's past the 3 million mark now. Congrats Taylor. Just for reference, it peaked at #16 on the Hot 100, it was a huge hit on Country Radio peaking at #1 on the Country Songs chart and a moderate hit on Pop Radio peaking at #18 on Pop Songs.

Yawn, Taylor is boring.

This new Mumford and Sons song, can it be a hit?

Eh... Seems like they sell only albums really. The new song is probably only doing well in anticipation for the new album.

Rumors are spreading that Taylor Swift will be releasing and/or premiering a new song on Monday. She always racks up high debuts, usually in the top 5 due to her anxious/borderline obsessed teenage girl fans buying the song in the first week, but then quickly spirals down the chart due to lack of radio airplay and consistent sales. I expect the same thing to happen with this song unless it has the ability or potential to become a huge crossover hit a la Love Story and You Belong With Me.

EDIT: Some more information I obtained:

This is going to be very interesting. Maybe Taylor can finally snatch her first #1 on the Hot 100.

Sorry but usher did two singles from this album and they both flopped, so this on will too tbh.

Scream did okay, and even managed to help cockblock Boyfriend.

It's a wonder that Usher and Carly, two people close to Bieber, are the ones that lynched his album era. I wonder how the kid feels.

We'll see, but there's always hype like this. People always try to make the debut single look like the best scheiBe ever, even though it doesn't live up.

But I do love Taylor, she's better than Christina or Britney. We'll see.

First time in awhile there is no dominant song.

What radio wants to play is not selling great, and emerging songs have ;little airplay.

I really worry. The Billboard rules are such bull, dammit. Only a multi-platitude song will work on all media fast enough to reach the top.
