Klou 2,414
I wasn't a fan until the Telephone era. I watch the Paparazzi performance all the time though It was the most entertaining VMA's I've ever seen. I remember being in shock with what she was wearing and the whole performance. Paparazzi rose to #2 on iTunes soon after :P

Klou 2,414
I wish I discovered this hoe before the Telephone era #4 Some Nights - FUN. It was definitely one of my highlights as a fan :) Pound The Alarm at #27. Looks like it may actually be a hit. I still think it would be struggling without the video. A song shouldn't need to rely on a video to be successful IMO, but that's just how it is.

True Set Fire to the Rain - ADELE Peak: #1 Keep It Together - Madonna Peak #8 Any more examples of successful singles without videos, Leo? :nacho: Edited August 4, 2012 by Arturo52311
LaineyGaga18 0
I heard a rumor that Judas has passed sales of 1 million copies in the U.S. Is this true? :)

Klou 2,414
In all seriousness, pretty much all songs from The Fame, Alejandro, and TEOG all were successful without ever getting a bump due to the video. The rest saw a boost after the video was released.

Valentino 4
Pound The Alarm at #27. Looks like it may actually be a hit. I still think it would be struggling without the video. A song shouldn't need to rely on a video to be successful IMO, but that's just how it is. Figured it'd be higher than that by now.
Klou 2,414
I thought everyone was trashing the MTN video for not helping the song? It did. It helped move it to #14 on iTunes. It dropped afterwards due to lack of radio support. Figured it'd be higher than that by now. It wasn't even in the top 100 before the video was released on Monday. That's a pretty big jump. Arturo 40,746
Do y'all think Pound the Alarm will be bigger than Starships, bigger than Super Bass, or less of a hit than those two? :awesome:
