Which Vevo milestone are you most looking forward to?

Gaga has achieved a lot in the decade that she's been a Vevo artist. She was actually one of the very few artists who signed up to the service as soon as it debuted, which was very business-minded of her, meaning none of her videos had to be transferred over when Vevo became more popular. As we know, Vevo hosts it "Vevo certified" awards where its artists get a trophy for every video they have that passes 100 million views. Gaga has an amazing 14 of them (Just Dance, Pokerface, Lovegame, Paparazzi, Bad Romance, Telephone, Alejandro, Born This Way, Judas, The Edge Of Glory, You And I, Applause, Perfect Illusion and Million Reasons) and did the special Vevo videos where she accepts her awards, although this was before she released her Joanne material. While getting a Vevo certified video has always been reasonably straightforward for her, although it takes more time than other artists, she always struggled to get lots of likes, however. She only has 6 videos that have 1 million likes or more, although Alejandro and Telephone are edging towards giving her 9 very soon. It's not as bad as it could be, but she doesn't have the kind of likes that artists like Ed Sheeran, Adele, Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, etc. have. Which is why I think whenever she hits any sort of Vevo milestone, I consider it such a great achievement and testament to her star power after all this time.

So, which one are you most looking forward to her achieving in the future? I just selected the biggest top ten I could think of, some will obviously take longer than others! It's multiple choice, as there's a few that are on the same level of achievement.

I'm personally really anticipating Bad Romance hitting 1 billion views and 3 million likes - we're getting so close now! And when those wretchedly long videos for GUY and Marry The Night finally get certified, it's going to be a big weight off our shoulders! I don't really think the promo ones like Beautiful Dirty Rich and John Wayne matter as much, but it would still be nice to see them have more views one day.

Joanne piano version because it's so beautiful. It deserves to have so many more views. I wish it was more popular than it is. 

Bad Romance deserves to have 1 billion views so that's my next most anticipated milestone.

Yep, I wish its views from the shorter version could count towards it but the rules state that views can't be merged and that either version can count as certified but not both as 2 separate entities. At the time, I thought it was a great idea to make 2 versions as that way, US fans could have it count towards their charts twice and it would help it get more exposure among the public who weren't interested in watching a 12 minute video with a bunch of different songs in it. But then, well, we saw that it barely made a dent in the charts, so it turned out to be completely pointless. The short version has 59 million views which is amazing considering how viewed the other one was and that it's basically only fans that have contributed towards all these views as the song just wasn't promoted. Of course, the video wouldn't have an extra 59 million if the second version hadn't existed, but guaranteed we'd be around 95 million views or thereabouts by now had it just remained at one version. Can you imagine how much fewer views MTN would have if it had a version available that started when the music began? I also think that version of just the song that was uploaded by a random user needs to urgently be deleted by Vevo. It has over 17 million views and has been leeching off the official version's views for literally years due to it being clicked on by people who didn't know any better. Don't know why it hasn't happened considering the site's normally ultra strict about stuff like this.

I also so wish that views and likes for the 2 versions of Telephone could be merged as they're literally the same video, just with the censored/uncensored swearing. The video is not explicit for today's standards. And for God's sake, merge those 3 versions of Paparazzi! That was made back when Vevo was a totally different game and it has no purpose keeping those 3 versions up anymore!
