Every episode that she had to postpone or cancel dates, she had problems involved (the rain, extra flights, extra gigs etc). She can keep on touring, she just needs to be super careful How do you know she didn't struggle through artrave? Just because she didn't cancel a load of dates doesn't mean she wasn't in pain. The point is she can't keep cancelling shows again and again because of her fibromyalgia. And it is not the type of illness that can be cured or eased by being super careful, it just flares up randomly. She said she would be taking a few months off to learn how to heal properly, and then she went and cancelled again. There is evidently nothing that can be done to help her pain. Live performances just aren't suited to her anymore. It's devastating to say as she is a world-class performer, but she can't keep ruining her body for the sake of her fans. I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!
Slojo 51
If she wants to continue touring I think she will have to completely rethink the way in which she performs as it's clear her body just can't cope with the pressure she is putting it under. If she cuts out the choreography and leaves that to her backing dancers she only has to concentrate on the singing and that should solve her problem. She has proved with Cheek to Cheek and her piano solo performances she can ccmand the stage without the choreography.
Sepsami 18,968
I think her next tour will take much longer for the same amount of dates, so she has enough time to rest inbetween dates. That's the best way they can combine touring with this horrible illness I think. I just hope she doesn't give up, the world clearly still loves her. But it begs this question: Can Gaga tour again like she once did? There is no real cure for fibromyalgia. It’s just about pain management. Perhaps this is why she’s gone the Vegas route? Only a few shows a month, less risk of not being able to perform? I hope she can continue touring, but confidence in her ability to honor dates may be lost by the ticket buying public. I feel so sad for her, and I wish her the best. Whatever is best for her is something we must all accept. And I do hope she can tour again one day, I know she truly loved doing those shows. Well to be honest, I'm a European fan and i love gaga and i'm deeply worried for her and wish her the healthiest, brightest future but at the end of the day someone has to say it. This is silly and irresponsible I've paid £310 and waited since ticket sale day and I think that the whole situation is ridiculous, surely if she knew her body was in that much pain she would of known not to reschedule the dates and surely she would have been collapsing a lot on stage, it was weird because she was notorious for falling on stage and being clumsy but then just stopped about three years ago and hasn't had a major viral fall since, this is very odd if this is when she says the condition sprouted. To be honest I just feel sorry for all those people who flew from foreign countries and paid hotels, flight cost, meet and greets etc and they have to wait until February 6th for a refund so they can go home. Still wish her the happiest, most successful lg6 era cause god knows her career won't survive without it
Mr Mirko 743
Those issues that she had in past will just occur again. She may do intimate shows in years to come. When you hurt your hip once. You can't fix the skeleton. Plus all the pressure. She is really a brave gurl. Love you.
Dadru 2,380
I'm sure she will! I think it's best for her to do like 5 shows & after that take a break for a few weeks to get stronger again. By the way for those people who think people won't buy tickets for her anymore, I mean look at Britney; she hasn't toured in Europe since 2011 & now that she's coming again (for also a small tour) she's selling out venues. People on here are just overreacting oh & if Gaga comes back with a strong album, I don't see a problem selling out venues. People know she can put on a hell of a show and that she's super talented. andy232000 11,736
The only way a tour can happen is it it’s a small tour with spaced intervals where she can rest.
Itsbrenda 2,983
tbh she seems to have a very interesting issue here... I'm supposed to be seeing her in London Sunday and for the 2nd time, i have spent loads of money for nothing. 2 American Legs and she is fine, as soon as she comes to Europe it's the same story again. What bugs me the most is the fact she has just cancelled it. No reschedule just 'well sorry but I will sign a 2-year deal in Vegas, is you are a real fan you can spend thousands of pounds to go there'... no. Before you come at me with 'oh her health' i know she is not well, and I understand that but cancelling with NO reschedule and signing a deal in Vegas? what a joke
Twitter 14
I doubt she will tour for 100+ dates. Unless she does 2-3 haitus in between tour legs. Since BTWB she managed to do 50~80 shows, so I have faith in her still touring, she just needs some time off. I believe the next tour (after Vegas) she’ll begin touring in Europe to make up for JWT. I still think it will be very hard for her to sell-out shows in Europe (at least in some countries) I'm talking as being French, Lady Gaga's image has been fading a lot through the years here. Her impact here is decreasing a lot (same in some other European countries) I don't think after cancelling twice here she'll be anticipated as much as she could have been for JWT as she still had that huge SB light on her. She'll be seen as an artist that could easily cancel before the tour date. If she doesn't make an album that is targetting a much wider international audience, I think it will be very very hard for her to make big concerts rooms completely full next time. But tbh I don't think she has plans for a LG6 tour. I could definitely see her releasing an album with no tour (Rooting on since this the first time she cancelled)
