Most of his success over the last few years was more about the songs and less about him, could have been anyone singing those songs

ummm, isn't that what any musician should strive to achieve?

and it was his rendition that made them hits

Because she stopped promoting it. We all know she can get her next single to #1 if she tries. :saladga:

Well, she promoted Ready For It at SNL, those Jingle shows and even released a remix w/ Bloodpop. And it didn't work out.

At this moment, the Reputation era is just at its end game.

Her SNL date had low ratings, wtf is Jingle show, and wtf there was a Bloodpop remix?  :laughga:

OT: As long as Justin remains attractive people will buy his music

Ehhh Idk she has a bad #reputation nowadays and it's trendy to not like her, some people even associate her with Trump/white supremacy somehow, etc.

Idk why I’m defending her tbh. I don’t even like her all that much. :ladyhaha:

Ryusei

I think if the music is gonna be contemporary (which it 99% will unless he's doing the stripped down stuff lol) and somewhat tolerable it'll be successful because purpose was so successful. He's also really popular in japan for example (for whatever reason) and other asian countries so idk as long as it's before people forget about him which imo hasnt happened yet his next era is gonna do well too

I thought Friends flopped honestly. I heard Cold Water & Let Me Love You literally everywhere but I haven’t heard his 2 latest songs 2 U & Friends, I thought they flopped. :ladyhaha:
