Joanne Will Snatch A Grammy

I Loved this one you made. You can realy have an idea of how this things goes since the grammys adjusts the categories to be presented according to whom is attending and performing by giving a certain space of screentime and stuff.

The only thing that concerns me is that the Grammys have that pre-ceremony in which they present most of the awards. Usually the pop categories are the last ones presented in these pre-grammys. If Gaga's categories are included in this. For sure, Ed won it since that brat is not attending and trashing the Grammy but they'll still vote for him

Gaga, Pink, and Kesha are all performing, and their noms are only in the Pop Vocal Album/Pop Solo categories so I doubt they'll leave it out of the broadcast.

As for the academy voting for Ed...I really hope they don't

I really think Joanne is going to snatch a grammy, just because this album is so much better than the other ones, and was made with so much love and kindness.. but unfortenetly Million Reasons will lose against Shape of You

I was just thinking about this yesterday. I agree that the only three possible winners are Kesha, Gaga and Ed.

Kesha: Rainbow 

Got critical Acclaim

She´s got the Dr. Luke case sympathy

Her album did not impact largely culturally nor commercially

Gaga: Joanne

Highly exposed to both critics and media, (Superbowl, 5F2, "Country aesthetic")

Million Reasons became one of her trademark songs, the public thinks of this song when asked about Joanne, and fortunately, Million Reasons was acclaimed as a track

Did not sell well commercially, just alright (on par with most of the nominees tho)

You could also add that out of the nominees Gaga is the only one that has been used in Promo and billboards (probs just to bring ratings but hey, at least the recording academy is fond of her image is they use it to promote their show)

Sam's song was far more commercially successful and it was represented in the media for a moderate amount of time since it is a James Bond song. I'm not sure an industry who willingly supported corruption by allowing sexual assaulters and molesters to be allowed to continue working would be keen on a song which condemned them.

Real **** though, in my mind her chances went from 0 to pretty good in the past few weeks alone. I mean all the promo of her on Grammy posters, the Ed speculation of him not attending, and just everything feels right for a win. Although I was thinking she wins Pop Solo..

The effort is nice.

However, you could also use the same research and see that the winner is 99% of the time the biggest hit/seller. The winner always performs/attends but this year is different because unlike previous years, the committee wanted to look woke and snubbed the biggest artist. Basically this year is unlike any other year since 1995 (when the committee first appeared) So any previous pattern goes out the window this year.

The most likely scenario is:

Ed Sheeran had the most votes in every category. He was snubbed in the big 3 for, as he correctly acknoweldgfed, "something bigger than him". It doesn't change the fact that he was far and away the leading vote getter in every category. Sure he may have lost some voted because he showed his disappointment. However they were just rumors at that time. NO ONE was announced as performers during the voting period. So the performers list had no bearing. It is also just as likely that people will feel bad for the obivous snub and make it up for him here.

I'm cheering for Gaga for both. But Ed is winning them both.

However, we will find out the day of the awards before the show. If Either pop category is planned on being televised, it means Gaga or Kesha is the winner. If both are televised, it probably means Gaga is winning one, and Kesha is winning the other. If NONE are televised, it means Ed won.
