Back in 2007-2008 Fergie was my main bish and I listened to The Black Eyed Peas only because Fergie was there. She was my favorite girl until Gaga came onto the scene. So imagine my happiness when I heard about DD back in 2015. After the messiness and drama, I was glad I can listen to DD finally. I was bopping to "A Little Work", which to me is pop perfection and I love this song so much. I relate to it the most and to me after "Life Goes On" it's one of the best songs on DD. So imagine my surprise when I checked those lyrics credits on "A Little Work" and found local rat dr. l*ke's name up there. I was beyond shocked and I'm still not sure if i want to stan Fergie who after Kesha's lawsuit she still proceeded to release ALW. It's hypocritical and hurtful, because dr.l*ke doesn't deserve to still be credited and make money after the way he treated Kesha. I'm out. the last Fergie fan remaining can turn off the lights and close the door. Spoiler i need someone to come asap and call me on my bullsh-t and defend Fergie, because I'm losing faith in her as fast as you can say Dutchess. It disappointed me, but I also realize she's been writing and recording for this album for at least 5 years, which was prior to the Kesha v. Gottwald lawsuit. My assumption is that he was brought in on the song for a period of time and departed, but they still had to legally credit him when it made the final track list...
