craig 680
Rihanna is lucky they don't count compilations in the UK the way the do in US charts: It came out on Monday and is the year's fastest selling album - Now 83 - 295 000 copies. I'm more of a Now 3 or Now 22 guy @officialcharts That 295 would probably be enough for a US #1 Black Friday week too.
Harry 26,836
Unapologetic didn't even hit 100k http://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/rihanna-equals-madonnas-chart-record-with-unapologetic-1729/ but she shares the record with Madonna, Eva Cassidy and Norah Jones for female artist with most consecutive number one albums (3) Anyone have exact sales for it yet? Compared to TTT's first week of 163k and Loud's 91k (though Loud went on to do far bigger numbers in later weeks) I wonder if her X Factor performance tonight will help boost her sales for next week. For the #1 album to not even be selling 100k at this time of year is just awful, I'm scared for ARTPOP's first week tbh :toofunny:

craig 680
This has been the year of smash singles by random people, with none of them launching a new star. It's fitting the Now compilation outsells Rihanna 3-1. Rihanna makes it a staggering three Number 1 albums in three years as Unapologetic follows in the footsteps of last year’s Talk That Talk and 2010’s Loud by going all the way to the top of the Official Albums Chart with UK sales of almost 100,000 copies this week. About 5/8 of TTT debut.
