StrawberryBlond 14,872
The new Fall Out Boy song is quality. Nice to hear some old fashioned rock n roll screaming on a song currently charting in the top ten these days. I didn't expect their comeback to get off to such a great start considering how they weren't that successful to begin with. Maybe there really is some muscial taste shifts in its early stages. StrawberryBlond 14,872
I hope rock doesn't come back to life It'll hardly mean that every artist will start going rock. It isn't a genre that everyone can pull off. It isn't a genre that everyone can adapt to. It isn't a genre where you get a list of songwriters and producers as long as your arm. None of the current popstars have what it takes to go rock, except Gaga. There will always be plenty of traditional pop and dance in the charts if that's your thing. I for one, am glad to see a bit of variety, vocal talent and proper instruments being appreciated for once. Makes a change from dreary Adele and trend following pop tarts. Oh, sure, I'm all for variety! It's just that generally heavier rock is too noisy for me, and that fallout boy song is kinda heavy... I do love a softer rock sound though, like the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, the killers or U2.

Harry 26,836
Suit and Tie seems to be well on it's way out now. I hope it stops falling and the BRITs performance can be saved. Otherwise I wonder if they will just move onto a new single by then? And I'm sorry but Bassline Junkie is the ****ing worst song I've ever heard How out of touch is he? lawd

Even if it doesn't go to #1, I want to see a rock song get #2 in today's charts at the very least!
