FinnishGypsy 921 Posted June 6, 2017 Share Posted June 6, 2017 So this isn't exactly an interesting anecdote, but on Saturday I heard "The Cure" for the VERY FIRST TIME on the radio here in Dallas. I was shocked because they have never once played it, not even when it was doing really well in streams and on iTunes, so I assumed it would definitely never play now that its success appears to be winding down. But anyway, I was ridiculously excited and knew this was the only place I could potentially receive any positive feedback regarding my excitement (When it came on, I turned the car radio to maximum volume, while also singing along at maximum volume, and my boyfriend was less than pleased). She lost both around the same time. It's truly amazing how different her career was with perfect management and label assistance. Bobby is good for the most part, but he's just not perfect like Troy was. Troy built her from nothing to being on top of the world; Bobby is just keep her afloat. He was three fourths out the door by the time ARTPOP was being marketed and released. Troy didn't build Gaga, he worked for her. He was a good business man and that was all. Bobby has helped her rebuild her career from a man that used her up and kicked her to the side. Bobby is one of the reasons why Gaga is still around giving you music and another tour. Bobby was one of the reasons who really helped her to bring the joy and fun back to continue with music. I am not sure if we could say the same thing about Troy.
