Tbh she's a phenomenon... Her previous era had soooo much backlash and then she just comes out as a goody few years later and everyone is happy cuz they will always remember Hannah Montana.

I think it is because people feel these changes in her as authentics. I really believe that her past era was exactly a reflection of her life, and what she wanted to do at that time. Now she's in love, and she's chill, and that's what GP perceive.

Is not about forgiving her, is about an artist is not the same all the time, and is ok to be a messy persona sometimes.

By the way, Gaga did a great effort to recover her image after ARTPOP but even with that people only accepted her "artist" or "singer" new persona, because it felt authentic. She was authentic singin on the oscars, or doing the national anthem.
Our lady was vomited live on a Doritos Music Festival, and suffer a very very awkward and public meltdown on twitter, but now GP are choosing not remember that because they simply don't want it.

Remember how Janet never recover from her nipple scandal. Is not easy to recover from great backlash, is not only what you do about it, GP have to want you back.

Instant reactions aren't a good indicator. People would've said PI would be the hit of the year then.

But it's ok since MR became the hit of the year anyway :gaysia:

I don't just mean numbers on iTunes or whatever. On social media etc this seems to have received a decent reaction, and I thought the song was pretty basic/uneventful so it surprised me.

Gaga moved up a bit on Apple music playlists too not that pop songs get many streams there. still good that interscope is pushing across streaming platforms

+ it features an interracial couple and went semi viral on alt-right sites for "pushing the liberal agenda on white america". :chica:

22.Lady Gaga - The Cure 0.1439 light green :gaycat:

It doesn't seem to be a glitch update either, the numbers are not the same as the last one.

....Could it be that we might have stabilized?
