Billboard confirms that the song debuts at #39 on this week’s chart. Even given the abbreviated tracking period, “The Cure” still received its greatest amount of activity on the sales front. It takes #3 on this week’s US Digital Song Sales subchart. It will be interesting to see how “The Cure” fares on next week’s chart. While it will benefit from increased radio support and a full week’s worth of sales and streaming activity, it will no longer have the “new song buzz” that powered its initial sales numbers.
