I kinda wish it was for another project though because this will be the 3rd remake of A Star is Born, (4 in total), and the ratings seem to get lower and lower every time with every remake  Like how many spins can you put on the same story??

I'd say pretty excited as I get more hyped anytime we hear news about it. I don't really care if it get awards or whatever, I just can't wait to see Gaga on the big screen! 😍 Her acting honestly isn't awful. With the right training and directing she can do well. As far as the music goes, I'm not a huge country fan but I am a fan of Gaga's voice, and so far I've enjoyed all of her ventures into other genres.

It'll be interesting to see where this goes then. It will also help influence how much exposure the film gets as well as promotion.

Yeah but I'm a little disappointed that it's probably going to be a modern-day film. I was expecting something a bit retro. It sounds like it's just going to be her biopic basically, which doesn't really interest me as I've heard her life story and struggle for success a hundred million times.

Let's be honest, she won't be releasing another album for at least another year and a half (since she is Gaga, and this girl love to take her time). And we know that she works on and finishes albums over the course of like, 3 months (even though she says she is always working on them).

ASIB isn't going to effect her album releases.

Otherwise, I'm not sure. I have no idea what the movie is about, but if she is good in it, then I will be all here for it when it releases.

I liked her in AHS in spite of the fact that she was a little stiff, but that's because it worked for her character. I don't have a good idea of how she will perform in this.

I haven't watched any of the other versions so I don't know what it's about. I want to buy Judy Garland's version and watch it next week just to see what's about. I only watched the first episode of American Horror Story Hotel and it was boring (in my opinion) so I skipped the rest of it + Roanoke. I really haven't had the time to watch that and I don't do it just because it's Gaga, I've been wanting to catch up on the show (only watched season 1) but there are other shows and movies that I'd rather watch.

Anyway, I am a fan of Gaga's music before anything else, so I'm excited about the soundtrack and want to see what she does with it. 

To be honest, I wouldn't mind if she cancelled the project and works on her own album, which is more important to me, but I will watch the movie when it comes out. So I guess I'm neutral about it.

Yes because I'm interested in seeing how Gaga's acting skills have developed since AHS and I'm excited to hear her incredible vocals and performances, which we all know she always delivers 

But I also say no because I'm not too hype or excited about the fact that this will be the 4th remake of the film. I wish to see her in a movie completely different from Hollywood, fashion or music.  It would be nice to see her in an action or comedy film, something new 

Regardless, I know Gaga will do a great job in ASIB!

From what I know of it, if Gaga weren't involved, this probably wouldn't be a movie I'd be interested in. So, I voted no. But here's hoping.

A debut is always a debut anyways,

And oh, that says it all. Gaga is great at starting things, so i know she'll nail it, her first movie, she'll slay

If Gaga were in a respectable action film I would be snatched  

But overall I agree. I'm kind of in the same vibe about this as you are.
