Ballad =/= always slow, you have to take into account themes, motifs etc.

Princess Die or Living on the Radio. I consider them sister songs anyway and they are both equally amazing.

You and I, Hair, and Edge of Glory aren't really pure ballads, but can be considered power ballads.

Not all ballads are low-tempo or acoustic. Please do not argue with someone if you're not willing to educate yourself. Most of BTW was Born This Way was inspired by 80s rock and pop, which includes a lot of famous rock sounds.
