Jonas Akerlund did the same with Paparazzi, which wasn't meant to be the last video as Boys, Boys, Boys was meant to be the next single. Alejandro came after Telephone, and Jonas was forcibly removed from the Edge of Glory music video, but some videos were made after it as well. That's true about his aesthetic but it makes sense to end it on him, his aesthetic works so well with Gaga and seeing as he puts 'The End' on a lot of his work it makes sense that his style of video would end the trilogy/go out with a bang.
