Did anyone notice Hey Girl is being added to Spotify playlists?

Added to Fresh & Chill and Everyday Favorites under Pop.

So Interscope is working on adding Joanne tracks as a whole to playlists?

raw

At least that is some great news!

no offence but I can't imagine caring enough to melt down over a radio update from one day :awkney:

it's still gaining good spins so it's obviously not over yet. Spins are better at showing when a song has peaked than AI

I just discovered Papa Don't Preach and it's one of the greatest pop tracks that i've ever heard. Usually i'm not fan of Madonna's personaltiy, and voice, but this is just perfect.

You have a valid point. Nobody can predict if A-YO or DIC would work out or not. A lot of chartsters said that MR would be a hit but to be honest if it wasn't the SB MR would never have taken off and that is a fact!! So even when you know how charts work that doesn't make your arguments more valid over others because nobody can predict what the GP likes and what not.

A-YO and DIC are not my albums favorites but are the most obvious choices for a follow up single for MR. Both have their advantages and drawbacks. Lyric-wise A-YO would be the safest option for US radio and DIC is more risky in that point but I see that DIC would work much better worldwide because Dance is quite prevalent, especially in Europe. And since Dance is famous the chance is more likely that it can help her streaming power.

How could it have taken off if radio and spotify literally boycotted her tho :nails:

For exapmle, if MR had been given the same chance by radio and spotify as PI got, it would have obviously taken off. PI didn't take off cause the gp doesn't like it. I'm just saying that MR is a well liked song and that's why it took off after the SB, if Gaga had performed, let's say, PI, it wouldn't have gone #4.

I know I should let go already but if only PI wasn't released as the lead single :laughga:

Interscope really tried with it the first week but clearly the GeePee(OnMe) :ladyhaha: hated the song.

Finally! There are Rihanna and Katy songs in almost every random playlist I listen to in my studio, but almost no Gaga. Maybe their team finally realized Spotify's influence?! :excited2:
