Because you think Bran's dead and then you find out he isn't and then you're just like "wtf did you goooooo?" until the final chapter. Spoiler regarding Bran: I honestly thought Theon had killed both Rickon and Bran so I was like WTF!! Even after the release of DWD, I see people discuss events that happened in SoS. Did you read any of it yet? The first chapter (I think I said this before) is really good and interesting, I think. I haven't started actually- I read every night before bed, so by tomorrow Morning, You'll probably find me posting something about how I feel about the book based on what I read. I always forget about Lady. :cry: She was killed so early on that I forget Sansa even had a direwolf. Hell I forgot Arya even had a wolf. i'm going to be really honest here but Daenery's Chapters from ACOK didn't really interest me that much... (except for that part where she goes into a dungeon and has all those visions). I honestly feel so sorry for Catelyn Stark right now: Her husband is dead, and Bran and Rickon are presumed dead, and now her Brother has ordered for the capture of Jaime Lannister- AND Tyrion Lannister is no longer the Hand of the King- which just pretty much tarnishes the possibility of her re-uiniting with Sansa. On top of that, her father is dying- while her son is out there in the war- and she has no clue where Arya is--just WOW. :( Im finding her chapters more interesting by the minute. Seing Jamie Lannister get a POV is quite interesting. And finally things are getting interesting at The Wall now that members WITHIN the Night's Watch are plotting to kill the Lord Commanders- in the face of The Other's invasion.- Damn- just Damn. Everyday, someone else from the cast and crew wraps for the year, and “goodbye†is probably one of the most spoken words of each day. For most people the last week is a combination of desperate tiredness and already looking forward to the possibility of Season 3. The last scene shot of the whole series is one with Bran, Hodor, Rickon and Osha. Of course, the weather in Northern Ireland has chosen to bid us farewell in its usual schizophrenic way. If you love anything associated with the Medieval Eras then You'ld love this show. It takes a couple of tries to truly understand what is going on but once you get it- you just can't wait to see what happens next. Corruption, Backstabbing, Incest, Conspiracies - dominate this show * The Epic Intro Video *Its an HBO series (new- came out in mid-April of this year). Check local listings for the Show Its a little complicated mainly because of the many characters that are in the show, but once you understand the basics and know who is who, the show just falls into pieces. *Anyone who isn't one of us is an enemy . I bought all the books. I'm busy with studying now, so I'll start reading them after the 10th probably. When i finish doing so, I'll come back here and discuss the story with ya'll. As far as the first season is concerned, there are these Zombie-like creatures called "The Whitewalkers" or "The Others" and there is a bit more emphasis on magic towards the 2nd installment, but for now the main emphasis of the show is on House Stark vs House Lannister and the Targaryens trying to reclaim the Throne. crookedangel 3 Posted January 5, 2012 Share Posted January 5, 2012 i marathoned this series last weekend. :) ugh, i hate cersei and jaime. big wtf at their incestuous relationship. no wonder joffrey doesn't seem right in the head. i really hope that little twit dies soon (by robb's hands -- as per sansa --, por favor). i love arya! is it weird that she's my fave character? she's so awesome. why did ned have to die?! :cry: poor sean bean; first, boromir, then ned. so who else aside from littlefinger (and cersei and jaime) knows that joffrey is not a baratheon by blood? if it was shown i must've missed it. ooh, i also love tyrion! i hope GRRM doesn't kill him off any time soon! ahhh, i want my own direwolf! :lol: i got so upset when ned killed lady (and another reason i hate joffrey). i do hope arya's direwolf is safe. ok, i really thought i was going to hate the daenerys story line because i felt khal drogo was going to be an abusive husband. but i love how their relationship flourished as the story progressed (i get giddy when they call each other 'my moon' and 'my sun and stars'. haha), and got quite sad when she had to kill him. :( and wow at daenerys' character development. never thought that the timid, submissive girl in the first couple of episodes would turn out to be a brave, authoritative woman by the end of the season (with dragons to boot)! btw, ewww at that little boy who was drinking from his mom's boob. i've read it was prosthetic, but still. can't wait for the next season! i do hope there would be more focus on the white walkers. i'm interested to know what they exactly are. i wouldn't mind more renly and loras, either.
