in all honesty, I think she realized the people are not responding to her "real" persona so she went back to what always works.

I think the Super Bowl made her realise this is what she was born to do - to be an all-out entertainer, which is what she's doing again.

We allways think she's planned every little detail of her career since...she was four, but I just think she's winging it.

Professor Fordie explains: the human mind has an intrinsic mechanism that is constantly looking for patterns where there might not be any. For example we see jesus in a slice of toast, when it's actually just a piece of bread where the toasting process has produced areas of darkened, caramellized hydro-carbons, salts and trace elements.

Any questions on that?

I think she's had a lot of fun recently planning and performing the SBHS, making the John Wayne video, etc. I think it provides perspective to her and she's realizing that she misses the big performances, the choreography, the visuals, and perhaps the glory?

REALITY

She's been "Gaga" from the beginning, it's just that this album was a little bit different, and therefore she wanted to accomadate for those differences. She doesn't "want to be a popstar again", she was always a popstar.

I hate it when people are just discrediting the stuff she does just because it doesn't "fit what she use to do". The Joanne era was still very much Gaga, and with the John Wayne video, it was just nostaglic, bringing us "CrazyGa".

<Sigh>

Not only do I not believe that she pre-planned these rather overwrought fan reactions, I also don't believe that she's particularly reacting to anything or changing course, either. I think everything she's done was a sincere expression of where she was at the time, and I think she'd stand behind all of it today (including, yes, the MR video).

She has always been a pop star. She released a ballad like Million Reasons because it seemed to be doing better than AY-O. We could see her in her sparkly outfits doing choreo to AY-O during SNL and stuff.

The Million Reasons video tried - I can see that. It was a confused video but there was an attempt made. I also think that it's her first Ballad as a single and was deeply personal. It seems different because it was - but she was always going to release an AY-O/John Wayne/DIC type song afterwards and it was going to be full of choreo.

Gaga just said in an interview that she was finishing the score to ASIB. Like... She has been working on scoring a movie - that's a musical no less - that takes a lot of work. It's unrealistic to think she would be on the sort of whirlwind promo tour she has been on in previous eras.

I always had a theory this is the new beginning. It's the girl songwriter that started in dive bars, eventually found two backup dancers and a band. Did one fashion show and became a pop star... Just like Gaga herself...

And Perfect Illusion always seemed so 'The Fame" esque to me... So maybe this is Joanne's 2010, TFM era.

They can't scare me, if I scare them first.
