...but this, as exaggerated as you have made it, would not occur if there weren't people supporting individuals like Milo Yiannopoulos. It's one thing to have conservative ideals and believe Americans should behave according to morals and strict interpretation of the government; it's another to be outright hateful and toxic to society. You can't support someone like Yiannopoulos if all he's doing is dividing people for the sake of doing so and proclaiming that individuals with a similar background and up ringing to himself should be perceived as threats to liberty

I don't completely agree with the protests, although I'm not on Milo's side either. I've seen a bunch of his talks and I wouldn't categorized it as hate speech tbh. Distasteful, yes. But not hate speech (almost borderline though).

Just let him practice his freedom of speech, and if you'll protest then do so, but don't destroy public property and/or stop people from attending his talk, which happened in his other talks. You would be literally infringing on people's right to attend an event that does not harm anyone directly.

We ALL need to listen to other perspectives. We can't come up with counter-arguments if we don't listen to other arguments first. Shouting and screaming "RACIST! MISOGYNIST!" (typical SJW response) doesn't help anyone.

We need to be the bigger people.
