JustAnotherDay 8,402
It's such a difficult situation. Because on one hand, I think we should protest him because he is awful and a liar and does a lot of harm, but also, protesting him just feeds the trolls. It makes him and his supporters more passionate about being awful. was NickARTPOP
POP2 4,206
He came to my old school. He spews hate speech. There's no need for that... I stand with the protesters.
Gov Hooka 8,008
Good!!! He's trash. Once Ann Coulter was invited to speak at my university and people flipped a **** and she was uninvited as a result
Edonis 28,974
I stand with protesters. Universities wouldn't hold a nazi to speak, so why would they host the alt-right's most influential speaker. They're literally one in the same. HOWEVER. I do NOT stand for rioting and looting and all of that other stuff. That makes the cause look awful and discredits anything you're trying to say. Luc 4,776
It's a difficult situation. Why do you think Milo's doing this at Ivy League universities, where >80% are liberals and the rest are GOP establishment's kids? These protests are the purpose of his tours. He wants to cause a stir and he wants CNN to report on it. He wants people to think that the left is just as bad as he is. On the other hand: what can you do to prevent other universities from making the same mistake of inviting a fascist?

Morphine Prince 109,656
Honestly I hate Milo and he is a ****ing troll but I don't agree with these riots. They should have protested his event peacefully or even attended and questioned him. This is just gonna fuel the alt-right losers and they will continue to label liberals as intolerant and hateful. I ****ing hate the right because of stuff like this. They provoke people by being pieces of **** and then want everyone to treat them with respect. I mean, they seem pretty intolerant of people with opposing views here? Are they completely wrong? It just all seems so self-righteous? Gaga Monster 13,001
Someone disagrees with you, riot and light things on fire. Got to love the Democrat protestors logic. How To Be A Democrat Protestor 1. Disagree with someone 2. Smash a window 3. Light a car or some object on fire 4. Riot!! 5. If you really want to get into the spirit, dress up as a Vag*** and hold signs saying vulgar words while children watch. 6. If someone disagrees with you, call them a racist and a bunch of words that end in phobe (xenophobe, homophobe) the possibilities are just endless. Also don't forget to include sexist and misogynist, can't forget those! GGD Presidential Elections

That meaning here in the US you could literally give a speech full of hate speech and you are protected. When your "views" are full of hate I don't think we should be surprised at things like this. People become outraged.
