ryanripley 86,575 Posted December 11, 2016 Share Posted December 11, 2016 Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare physical sales down nearly 50 percent in US compared to last year Call of Duty haters are getting loads of ammunition today as physical sales of the latest game in the series, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, are off to a very rough start. According to NPD Group’s November report, physical sales of Infinite Warfare in the U.S. were close to 50 percent lower than Call of Duty: Black Ops III’s sales last year. Sales in the UK were also said to be lower at launch, but not as bad as in the states. Keep in mind this report only details physical sales and not digital, which should help straighten out the franchise’s real sales figures. Activision Blizzard was expecting sales for Infinite Warfare to be softer as the game received loads of backlash from the community, but there’s no way they were expecting this big of a drop-off.
