He's literally tried to justify the genocide of anyone related to an ISIS operative (or Muslims in general, depending on how you take his statements). If this makes anyone say "Maybe Trump is better than Hillary" I seriously question that person's convictions. No, it is not worse, because he wasn't holding the same position of power and responsibility, and because of the setting in which he made those comments. He was talking up crowds at rallies and getting in the headlines with bombastic statements. Hillary was (reportedly) actually suggesting it. If a guy reads some atrocious story in the newspaper and goes "that guy should be shot!" it's totally different from the Secretary of State, during a closed-doors meeting, asking if they can make a drone strike on Julian Assange.
