Are you even a fan?

Why are you quoting my posts? This thread has died down, the discussion is done. Let it go.

Yes I am a fan. Continue reading the thread (as I'm sure you will) and you will find out for yourself.

Have a blessed day.

I did read the whole thread. And it's not done, I can quote everyone I want, whether you like it or not. Plus, you seem more like a hater than anything, I know a fan is not supposed to kiss her ass on a daily basis but a fan is also not supposed to drag his/her fave too.

Yeah she's achieved so much in such a short time. She is the definition of career goals.

Do I agree with all her decisions? No, but that isn't the question. ;)

Very happy. She is showcasing more and more her talent.

Must be tough for the little chartsters who live through her achievements. What are they going to do with their free time if they can't fight with other fanbases and rub the commercial success of their fav in other people's faces? :(

Her only "down" has been the second half of the ARTPOP era and hell, even then she managed to sell out arenas in North America and Europe and stadiums in Asia. Your past two threads BOTH questioning Gaga's success really make me question whether you're here to start **** or just be a Gaga fan because it seems to be the former :awkney:

But staying OT: The only thing I would change is Hair/ TEOG as BTW second single and Gypsy as third ARTPOP single but regardless both eras have been widely successful so :woot:

NO. Born this way album was good and she didn't release any of the singles that would have made it a masterpiece . She left hidden gems on the album and released obscure songs like you & I that didn't have anything to do with the message of the album. It was awful. Videos were bad. etc. It just could have gone so much better. There was no true big BOP after born this way single. Granted born this way single was the biggest event of the year , every time it came on the radio it was like "okay this song has a point" and as a gay person I felt so happy to hear it and know the world was listening to that message too, even if at the time I didn't like the song very much. I grew to like it. But no I'm not happy with the execution of born this way album after the first single, I think her career is INTERESTING but it's time to leave the past in the past and look to the future!!!

She started overthinking things after 2012 and that's when things when to ****.

She needs to get out of her head and release music more often (like in 2008-2011)

I'm fine with her career because it's her career and she can do whatever she wants with her life. If she wants to be a pop star 24/7, good on her. If she wants to become the next Ella Fitzgerald (which honestly is a much higher achievement than becoming the next Madonna), good on her. If she wants to become the next Paul Newman, good on her. Her career isn't a box that her fans get to restrict. Whatever she does, she'll find new fans.

Been a long time but I'm back in town, and this time I'm not leaving without you

:applause: Thank you.

It's appalling when I hear "She started as a pop star so she should be a pop star" (or should release pop music). :saladga:

too many pop fans seem to think that being the "queen pop girl" is the epitome of achievement.

Musically, it's basically the bottom of the ladder.
