Better Day 5,766
Do you believe in the iconic missing album by queen Britney Spears? The album that was going to change her career Together You And I!
Katsuki Bakugo 9,788
Yeah but I believe it was going to change it for the worst. I believe it would have had negative repercussions. Seeka 12,372
Never heard of this. Though I'm not much of a Britney Fan. Though I do know that Femme Fatale was completely different before the executives heard the demos.

Alien Tulip 12,428
It is true and Mona Lisa was going to be on the album. Britney wrote the album (yes wrote) and it was going to be a darker album than she's ever done. Unfortunately her team are heartless people that always enjoyed controlling britney since baby one more time. Britney learned guitar in 1997 and "Baby One More Time" was supposed to be somewhat of an alternative rock album which is what britney wanted to do but they wanted her to do pop which she was fine with if it meant making the bucks but Britney didn't know they would tell her what to do several albums down the line. To be honest though....sometimes I'm glad they controlled the beginning of her career because Baby One More Time, Oops, and Britney are great pop albums. In The Zone was pretty much the first album where Britney was heavily involved in the creation process. She even wrote most of the songs on the album, learned piano and came up with the visuals. Original Doll was rumored to be a 2005 release but her label got in the way but also because Britney got knocked up which in a way was good down the line because her two sons are the greatest things that ever happened to her life as she's admitted til this day. Blackout is such a great album but it's sad it was an album that reflected her life in 2006 and 2007. The songs are club friendly but if you listen to the lyrics and dark melodies (like get naked) you can tell the producers and writers made the songs from her a place of her breakdown. In my opinion Circus was WAY too soon after Blackout and her hospitalization in January of 2008. She needed way more time to heal but her team only focus on using her as a machine. Femme Fatale and Britney Jean are not good albums in my opinion even though there are 3 solid pop songs in each album. Thankfully she's the healthiest she's been since 2004 (12 years) and I honestly feel like she's really involved in the creation of her next album. She seems really bright, happy and radiant. I think her next album will be great. It may not be successful but it has potential to be her greatest release since In The Zone.
DiscoHeaven23 35,007
I believe in it with all my heart. Original Doll was going to be the album of the decade
Bio 23,538
I mean it was a real thing but I believe it would flop hard. 2007 was a terrible year for Britney's personal life but in the end it saved her career. People wanted to see her succeed and that's why Circus and Femme Fatale were successful albums. The breakdown was a big part of her becoming a legend. JustAnotherDay 8,402
If she had released an album of songs like Mona Lisa I think she could have changed the game, that song is disguised as normal pop but is dark when you look at the lyrics. She was one of the most scrutinized people on the planet and it would be interesting to see her view on it. was NickARTPOP
YNS 6
Original Doll? Okay.. Never heard of it. What happened to it?
PaperIz 7,308
It would have been great because she had so much input on it but the record company was being dumb of course. Human generated art

Reportedly they were gonna make her pay for every aspect of the album and not promote. She did writing and producing on it which is crazyyyy Human generated art
Brian Ryan 1,468
It's called Blackout. Original Doll is truly just something in people's heads. Ideas change and they ended up with the final product. Those are just many songs that did not make an album or a potential album that did not work. Therefore, they moved on.
