PLEA: Alejandro Stems

What's the point of having them though?

Some people use them to remix.

Some people just like to collect them.

Some people like to hear the different parts that make up songs.

I myself am the 3rd type. I love hearing all the things you can't hear in the actual track, especially vocal wise.

Lol what is stems? Someone explain to me, I'm a :flop:

They are the individual "ingredients" of a song.

When you hear a song with more than one instrument, you are hearing the finished "meal", as you were meant to hear it.

When you hear a stem, you are hearing one instrument isolated from the rest of a song, for example, just the drum track. Other stems could be the guitar track, a high synth track, a low synth track, or a bass track. I think (I could be wrong) the naked (dry) acapella itself is considered a kind of stem.

When you put all of those stems together you get a finished song, when they are placed in the proper order and timing.

Stems are essentially the individual roots of a song's finished tree.

A gentle reminder to my buddies here:

no stretching the forum by pressing the enter button 1,000 times.

no trolling because as I said there is no single way to be hated quicker than trolling in the Audio Section.

As you all know, we take it seriously.

Really :haha:

EDIT by ChicaSkas: Quit trolling. There is no single way to be hated faster in the Audio Section than by trolling you have stuff you don't actually have.

Thank you VERY much you explained it really well. Now about the topic, how do you know that someone HAS the stems of Alejandro and doesn't want to share them with the world?

Project Gaga posted a stem remix a while ago. You should be able to find the link if you search the audio section.
