Murder never gets old. And this was genocide. I don't care how old she is. It's even surprising she lived this long and didn't kill herself because of guilty conscience. Or maybe she never had any?

I don't think the argument that she was 20 years old hold it self together. Let's say she realize later she did an horrible thing, she had 70 years to try to make something in order to fix what she did in a way or the other even if that can never be fixed and it if she hasn't tried anything and has no remorse I don't think her mind has changed much or that she expressed regret. maybe shame to get caught but what else. I don't know many racists people who like to be called out as such for example.

Furthermore people make it seems like hunting nazis down to get them in front of justice is a piece of cake. I would recommend you check out the work of the Klarsfeld couple , then you will see that a lot of them weren't hold accountable until late in their life because you need a tremendous work to bring them in justice. I don't know if Germany justice system is similar to france, but in France it's innocent til proven guilty so you will need solid evidence before someone get convicted, let's not forget the shame and trauma that Germany faced before they started to actually do something about it.

So sure, this won't fix the whole situation but if she is held accountable for her acts so be it, it's never too late,s o at least families of victimes can feel that justice has done their job.

Simon, from the looks of it, based on your personal reasons and posts, you just want this to happen out of revenge. Revenge is never a good thing. She may or may not feel remorseful for what she did, but like everyone is saying: Why now? Germany is now using her as a scapegoat to cover up their mistake during the Nazi era. This is wrong. The woman is years, maybe months or days from dying. In all honesty, WWII was EVERYONE'S fault. Yes, the Nazi's have more fault then others. But this is getting ridiculous. By the time she goes to jail, she probably will spend one or two months there. Meanwhile, Germany will spend a sh*t load of their residents money on a case about a 91 year old murder so she can spend a few months there, which will require more of their residents money to accomodate jailing bills. Why waste the money on that when they could use that money to help the country itself in positive ways?

So what? It's never to late. Just because she is used a "scapegoat" doesn't mean that we shouldn't get justice. She weren't soft to my people. I don't care how old she is. You always stay a murderer. You can't just get away with murder.
