Does anyone know if the full performances from the tour are available? On the 'part of me' DVD it's mainly just half the song or a snippet of it. I really want to see/hear the full 'Like the movies' live.

NOTE: Before you read any further, this is a RANT about Katy Perry. I respect everyone's opinions, and I respect her fans. So if you don't wanna read these feelings, then DON'T. I think Katy Perry, in the beginning was great, but now I don't. Doesn't mean I still don't blast Hot N Cold on my Ipod. Cause her first record was great. Love ya. Thanks.

Katy Perry, at the time of her debut was an original, fresh artist. She had her own pin-up girl style, that reminded me of a movie star from the 1940-'s. Her her music/vocals on "One Of The Boys" was great. Then Gaga came along, and ever since then, Katy just seems to well.....copy her. Every move Gaga makes, Katy finds a way to mimick it in her own way. I find more comparisons between Katy and Gaga, then I do Gaga and Madonna.

I'm already fearing that Katy is gathering all the information she can on ARTPOP, so she can make a rushed generic copy, and it go number 1.

She was my favorite pop artist back in 2007, but now I despise her.

She should have stayed true to herself, instead of trying to become someone else. She used to be s-xy, and fresh....and now she reminds me of an old used tampon that Gaga left in the trash, that somehow lived, and is now seeking it's revenge.

You're just speaking the mind of everyone in here who respects her beyond her music and as the artist she used to be.

I'd love another OOTB

Teenage Dream was/is one of the best pop masterpieces of the decade and you guys just need to accept that ;). Not a single filler on it. Every song is pure pop perfection. Not a single line feels out of place. It was such a cohesive era, especially compared the messes 2012's pop stars have brought. Plus, Katy has always been a great video outlet. Maybe not every concept is thought of by her (even though she is conceptually involved in most of her projects), but the Teenage Dream era was the source quality video after quality video. Maybe they aren't some deep intellectual videos, but they are solid pop releases. I don't see stars like Ke$ha or Rihanna outputting the quality she does.

She changed her style, but I don't understand how people say that she copied Gaga? I don't really understand how the Teenage Dream candy land relates to The Fame Monster. If anything, the two eras are polar opposites. She became more mainstream, but that's hardly copying and I feel that she executed the transition well.

I disagree.

The album (tracklist wise) dropped off after ET. She's had one song that had a religious undertone (scandalous right :hor: ), had 2 OOTB sounding songs, and had what I think is probably the best song of her career that went unreleased as a single.

Not to mention almost the entire album was about the disgusting Russell Brand who she got a divorce from and then turned around and cashed in on.

For 2010, it was a great mainstream pop album for the masses. A decade from now, it's nothing. It was all in the moment.

Yes :)

Looks like Katy is smart enough to know she knows she needs to change her sound and image :golfclap: Good for her!
