PrinceGaga 7,585
A talented artist doesn't generally need to have a big stage and production to wow a crowd. The artRAVE was one of the best nights of my life. It was unbelievable!! When I was there I didn't even really notice the production or the stage, I was more concentrating on her. That's the whole point anyway. With Katy it's like "what other over-the-top prop is she going to sh** out next?" It's like she's shifting the attention from her bad performances onto spectacle. You have to have both or at least be an amazing performer, you can't just have a nice stage with pretty images and props. It annoys me a little tbhThe setup of the artRAVE was a rave (in the title) and that's what it was. Gaga was totally in her element
Ladey Gagz 2,512
the tour was flawless and you shall all deal, this b---h tried to make something that was a continuous party and fun without the need of storyline (although artRAVE actually does have one) and i went to both; one by myself and the other with my 8 y/o cousin & her mum and I enjoyed artRAVE so much more tbh Guess you hate every other tour that exists because Gaga is the only one who makes storylines
KyliesChild 16,907
Gaga clearly ****s on Katy in terms of talent, vocal ability, dancing, exc. Pristmatic ****s all over artRave in every way possible show production wise though. The artRave isn't even close to touching it in terms of show and production. This with an exception of the artRAVEs lighting
PrinceGaga 7,585
I haven't been to the Prismatic World Tour since I don't listen to Katy Perry. I wouldn't enjoy the show anyway, as I am drawn to female powerhouse vocalists. I can't enjoy shows where the performer is not capable of singing in tune most of the time, I just can't. This is not 'shade' towards Katy or anything, it's just my opinion that she is not a good vocalist. hahaha this made me laugh. I totally agree with you as well btw
Andrew 375
Gaga is a better performer, nobody can deny that is reflected in the Artrave .... However, Prismatic's production was ALOT better, that show was seriously on point, every song stood out. I found parts of the Artrave boring!
Rainbow Unicorn 82
I only saw the Prismatic World Tour on videos, but I have to agree with you. It seems to me like the whole thing is a real show, it's structured and aesthetic.Gaga's artRAVE was more based on a messy party than a show, it was super fun, but it was very different from her past tours. Schwerk 7,352
I just don't get why you can't like both, I liked artRave better vocalwise and Prismatic better showwise.Ofcourse you can like both.I havent been to Katy's show but production wise it seems really impressive. I'm wondering if you had tickets on the floor or seats? I think that makes a HUGE difference at artrave. The way Gaga interacts with you and is all-over the place and so close is unlike any show I've ever seen and really makes it a wonderful experience. Like your at a party together instead of a concert. I like how unrestricted and free it was, a nice change from her other tours. But if you have a seat that experience of looking right in her eye while you both boogie down to pokerface is lost on you. And then you loose a chunk of the biggest entertainment factor imo after her performance, which is her connection with the audience. And I have to say the audience at Amsterdam artrave wasn't that great. They were stubborn annoying and didn't seem to be there to let go and have a good time. And I know Gaga felt this too, sadly. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch
OpusDiaboli666 199
I completely agree..I didn't have a seat at either of the Artraves but it's still noticeable how the audience is in love with Gaga and she is in love with us. This energy is in the room. We're watching her and she's watching us and she just feels every moment of the show. I had a seat at the Prismatic tour and was shocked at Katy's interaction with the fans. Didn't feel sincere but like a program she says every night. Even when two people got on stage for a selfie she was so distant, no hug, no love, no connection..when the selfie was done she didn't even say goodbye just left the fans standing there awkwardly
gagzus 16,302
Guess you hate every other tour that exists because Gaga is the only one who makes storylines Actuall yes I do, it's borin just seeing a plastic pop star attempt to sing or lipsyn and do random choreography for a few hours just bc they have to make money. Especially the ones who complain they have to tour.
Yves 1,891
You actually asked us to choose between Katheryn and Gaga when this is a Gaga forum? Well

Haroon 49,685
I've been to both and now that the post-concert effect has worn off I can say that I enjoyed The Prismatic World Tour more Katy's just blows every concert out of the water in my opinion. The screen, the stage, the set list, the dancers, the outfits, etc I'm super glad and lucky that I was able to go to both because they were among the best nights of my life

Spock 20,292
YES! I totally agree. I loved artRAVE and went a bunch of times and everything, but it seemed a bit messy to me and I didn't really like the setlist. Prismatic World Tour was entertaining, full of energy, colorful, with amazing props and usage of stage from start to finish. The production was amazing. I think it's the most fun I have ever had at an arena. Loved loved loved it.But people here will never agree to it because they will never accept the fact that Katy can sometimes do things better than Gaga who will love me when the night is over
gagzus 16,302
But ArtRAVE doesn't have a storyline It does actually she described it vaguely in the VEVO interviews and before she even started the tour
