Nice article that shows the swing that the public is taking in Gaga's direction.   Gaga's hard work ethic is worth emulating.  When she want's something she goes for it fully.    A lot of people want the rewards but don't want to put in the work.  How many of us want to be artists or musicians or singers but spend most of our time browsing the internet instead of putting in the hard work on our craft? Gaga is always willing to put in the work, and it's paid off in her outstanding performances.  I have no doubt she has also been working hard to prepare for AHS and am looking forward to seeing the results.

In fact, the whole story of Gaga's career is the story of her resilience. From bullying to bad reviews, Lady Gaga is always overcoming. The story of how she got to where she is now is one of the most inspiring in music.

She's had that drive since a very young age. When Gaga turned 11, she started taking vocal lessons from Christina Aguilera's singing coach, Don Lawrence. She still takes lessons from Lawrence to this day; to prep for her Sound of Music tribute, Gaga practiced with him every single day for half a year leading up to the performance. As a kid, she learned classical piano and took a full day of acting classes every Saturday. She never underestimated the value of thoughtful study — as a child in a classic rock cover band or as a grown superstar.

Gaga has been many things in her career — fashion icon, s-x icon, provocative pop chanteuse. But she has been, most importantly, a singer and a resilient star. Her latest Grammy, and her stunning Sound of Music tribute, earned her hard-won praise for being a fantastic musician. They proved, though, that most importantly, Gaga doesn't need anyone's approval to be a star. That's something she does for herself.

Very good article! I'm sick of every article about her calling ARTPOP a flop when it sold either more or almost as much as the other big singers at the time...without a massive number 1 hit. But anyway it's a great read!!

It's cool how they still praise her. But I hate how they talk about a "re-invention" when she only did a tribute performance, she didn't really change her persona or her music.. :deadbanana:

I thought the Oscar performance was trying to get the public's approval?

I don't understand your question.

I don't understand your question.

Did she not perform at the Oscars a tribute to one of the most endearing music film to regain the public's affection and approval that she is a force to reckon with?
