To be honest, and maybe it's just my virgin stanhood that has a clouded view on it but: VMA's was a decent performance, nothing show stopping but decent. Graham Norton: same AMA's were outstanding, some complained about the theme but overall she has millions of views on that performance too Alan Carr was iconic, she really won people over with that song, doing what she does best, her and the piano. ARTPOP is flawless No I'm not meltdowning of her chart position either, whatever it is that she's so quiet for, there must be a reason for it. And if she does well on the charts, that's just a big nice bonus. Her music is good, she's a proper artist, and the most renowned artists were all eccentrics with great ups and downs. DWUW at American Music Awards, VMA performances, basically everything while she was in Japan. Also I LOVE Applause at GMA. Inspired. Swinefest was great too. DanielG 0 Posted January 17, 2014 Share Posted January 17, 2014 I feel like the thing that is so frustrating about this era is, despite the meltdowns and haters, nothing has really been THAT bad. Applause was top ten for 14 weeks, DWUW has been top 20 for however long and probably would have down better if the there was an actual video. Most importantly though, in my opinion, radio has been playing GaGa. That is a big plus for me. I mean the album sales haven't been crazy but who cares? Usually if you have songs that hit on radio album sales follow. And also, THIS ALBUM IS GREAT. If people don't want to buy it that's their choice but I love it. I just need GaGa to get out there and promote and perform and be her uniquely GaGa self! Her work should not be so affected by 'backlash' and people that just want to hate.
