She just sings things acoustic over the same chord progression used in Call Me Maybe, Wake Me Up, Girlfriend and Grenade and she gets called a legend, incredible songwriter and unbelievable vocalist: just because she does it acoustic and because she is fat. this, i think people like the idea of Adele (the anti-popstar, about vocals not looks etc) more than the actual person LADY GAGA/madonna/katy perry/little mix/ariana grande/selena gomez/britney spears/taylor swift Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I wouldn't say she is the ultimate songwriter, but she does write songs with nice insides of the message she is trying to convey, i would never drag her songwriting skills tho, mostly in a gaga fan site :reductive: and as for her vocals, you might have never heard her do anything else that the range of chords you name because most of her songs ARE acoustic or pop instrumentals, that's like someone hearing ARTPOP and saying "she doesn't have variety because all she does is EDM" maybe that's what the ARTISTS likes you know, but coming at her for her VOCAL SKILLS is very silly since i doubt anyone in the pop business right now has a better voice than her with such capacities to go down and up and use falsetto the way she does it and deal SHE'S FAT AND SUCCESSFUL, you might have a problem there Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
