That's smart, that's why The Netherlands' Economy is so good (17th in the world right ? )

And as I already said we studied that Spotify is trying to get a lot of loyal customers and then they will start "highering" the prices, which is really smart tbh '-'

Which will likely cause a lot of controversy, well, we got 3 free premium Spotify accounts when we upgraded our internet :hor:

The Netherlands' export is #7 Export in the world, #4 best country to live in (HDI index), #12 best income per capita. Mostly because of the Rotterdam Haven, which is the biggest haven in the western world.

Amazing song :applause: Hope it's as big as Royals was!

But Lorde is a one hit wonder. She won't have a big hit anymore , and she will disappear from the world like Carly Rae in 2 months.

As a piece of the promo puzzle, yes, but that's not what you are saying. You keep saying that a video is the #1 promo for any song and that it is more important than any other form of promo combined, and that is simply not true.

A video CAN make a huge impact, but usually it is not the case. Radio play, across multiple formats, is the most important and reliable for long term promotion of a song. After that, TV commercials reach the GP more than 99% of videos or any single performance. There are always anomolies like WB, Gangnam Style, What Does the Fox Say, or performances like Paparazzi at the VMAs or Stay at the Grammys.

But the video just gives that extra push.

It can make people like a song more, so after promotion or airplay they'll look the song up on youtube and find a video before buying it. Perhaps the video makes them like the song more, resulting in more effect of promo.

It makes the position of a song higher on iTunes, resulting in more airplay, resulting in higher iTunes position, etc etc.

I believe that a video is the most important promotion for a song, especially by an already well-known artist.

Dont say that again, because Lorde still can be a two hits wonder like Carly.
