She wants to be an "exclusive artist" whose presence on a random show/awards, or others is very difficult to guarantee. And that¡s great. She doesn't want to be a french fry, she is foie gras. This is going to be negative on the charts, but then, it will be very positive in her career, imo. Back to charts, she is doing regular for an artist who is not performing on shows, or released a video. Probably her time is coming next month, something I really want to. It's just that this era hasn't been interesting so far, I'm happy I have ARTPOP, but I still think that it's not what Gaga's capable of writing and making. No maybe not, she probably could do better but it is what it is. Do you realise the thing you are after might never happen this era, maybe this is gonna be it for the time being, hell maybe even forever. Analyzing is fine but getting dissapointed because she's not going into the direction that you'd hope for her is not worth getting frustrated about. Like GagaSlayedYou said above: some stars are French fries, she's the foie gras. What is OBAMA 0 Posted December 26, 2013 Share Posted December 26, 2013 Charts aren't everything BUT they meant a BIG deal If You have chart success that means you are selling wich means your record label is gettin' benefits from your music(singles &/or albums) leading to them paying more attention to you and being more interested in promoting your music promoting music means gettin' the best tv spots available(or some times not even available) means to invest in such performances(money for production value, *see every performance katy has done this era and see most of gaga's, if you look at the past era gaga was the one with the AMAZING production value and katy was the other way around, THIS DOESN'T MEAN HER PERFORMANCES ARE BETTER but production value helps with the presentation and image of such artist* means to invest in your music videos, promo pics, tv ads if you have chart success means that people are enjoying your music wich will lead to radios(al$o motivated by your label) to be more eager to play your music wich would lead to a bigger exposure in the end chart success means that bigger audiences are here for the material you have to offer leading probably into them doing better business in your upcoming tours when an artist has chart success it also means that they have more control over what they do(although as gaga gets more and more control things are sinking faster and faster zorry gags but that's the cold truth ) if you have a SUCCESSFUL era that means your label will put more interest in your upcoming era by putting to your call every demand regarding composers, producers and anything that has to do with the production of the music CHARTS DON'T mean everything but they are VERY important if you call your self a POP artist :reductive: Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have to admit, I don't care at this point about chart, I will continue to follow the numbers of this era of course, but no meltdowns or things like that, this time things are going in this way and I'm gonna accept it.
