Snowyrain 38
The stanbase which Gaga has built is not just from her songs, it's because of the live versions of her songs, it's because of the craziness that appealed people, it's because of the support to gay rights and activism, it's because of her tours, it's because of the visuals in her music videos, look at how many people changed their opinions on Gaga or Christina after The Voice performance. That's quite a lot. This era she hasn't been gaining many fans, because she doesn't promote a lot anymore, she doesn't release stunning videos anymore, she doesn't wear shiny and pretty things anymore that make the gays go 'YAAAS!'. She doesn't have that craziness and fierceness that made all teen girls love her. I know I'm really generalizing, but it's the truth. What do Cher, Madonna and Britney Spears all have in common? Huge support from 'the gays'. Lady Gaga has that too, and she should try expanding on that while also expanding on kids and teengirls. Gays are gays , and when they hate Gaga for once they will hate forever. Sorry but that's the truth. You are right except that tho!
Whispering 18,865
I'll tell you why. Although the sales are decent, they are not on the level of the megastar that she is, and the label sees it that way. They are lawyers and accountants, worse than Wall Street. They ONLY look at numbers. Also, let me remind you that majors sign artists who are a gamble and spend $ on them and 99% of those signings are a minus sign financially. It is acts like LG who pay the bills for everyone. In the end it's all about the song, the hit, or at least it is in their eyes, and also the radio because although internet has changed the game somewhat, the big numbers are still dependent on radio (according to them, again). Hits drive tour sales. At the moment they are concerned because her fanbase doesn't seem to be growing and expanding. Yes she has an incredible fan base, but it needs to GROW to make money. I don't believe for a minute that you have any knowledge whatsoever into what exactly the people at the top of her record label are all thinking. As a "person who knows things", I can tell you what the real inside information is. There is no concern over Gaga's album sales whatsoever, as she is doing as expected worldwide. Interscope is a well oiled machine, with artists who have been around for decades. They are more than aware of the fact that ALL artists have some eras that are more successful than others. They know that is to be expected for a long term career artist and that is exactly what they think Gaga is. There is also no concern over her tour, as they know she appeals to a worldwide market. BTW, Lorde didn't change the game. She's a beginner, with a single hit and one album. Her ability to tour and appeal to an American audience (visually) is a big question mark at this time. Adele changed the game! Gotye, The Lumineers, Mumford and Sons, Fun and Imagine Dragons ushered in the alternative rock songs to mainstream pop music, not Lorde. She's riding the wave, she didn't start it and she hasn't changed anything.

Luc 4,775
Gays are gays , and when they hate Gaga for once they will hate forever. Sorry but that's the truth. You are right except that tho! But gays are the most loyal, so it's important to not leave them out like Britney is doing right now and remember that they are your second biggest audience, next to girls of all age. My point is that there's no point in trying to become popular among males, because males simply enjoy male voices more and females and gays enjoy female voices more. You don't have to appeal to straight men, because females and gay males are far more important.
Whispering 18,865
Itaita, do you know if Gaga is looking for a new manager at the moment? Sorry if already discussed Gaga has a management team. She is still represented by members from the Atom Factory.

The Rick Ross remix from the Rap youtube channel was removed at one point, but now it's back. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀
