Even Chart News don't know the total of sales... WW sales: @BritneySpears, Britney Jean 55,000 (400,000+ total).

But during this period she could make situtation clear or perform in one late night show.

All on hiatus past 2 weeks for the holidays.

DH sounds fresh and in trend of trap-rap that's why it's selling well ! (and because it's Katy  :toofunny: )
DWUW has better vocals but sounds a bit older, retro (love it much much more though !)

Honestly, smashing WW with a single isn't that important. Poker Face has sold 1,5-2M outside Anglophone countries and South Korea. That's about 1/7 of its total sales.

The next lead single should be promoted in Germany, Australia, the UK, Canada, the US, South Korea and Japan :manicure:

But with albums, it's very different, 1/3 of the certified sales for TF come from non-Anglophone countries.

My conclusion: The only actually important countries to promote are the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan.

France, no?

I didn't include France because single sales are low there, album sales are okay and promotion doesn't affect a song that much and they don't have an effect on social media as the other countries.

Stromae is a French-speaking artist, of course he'll sell more. 3% of The Fame's sales come from France. And next to that, all of his promotion is in West-Europe while a global artist like Gaga has to focus on the US, the UK and Japan.

I really respect Gaga and I think there are lots of things that we do not know but what is happening? I really do not want to sound "meltdowning". In my opinion, she released her album after 2 year and DWUW is her 2nd single. I think she promoted it well and Xtina duet is very good idea but we are still waiting for video and I understand there could be some problems. But during this period she could make situtation clear or perform in one late night show. People started to lose attention to song. The only place that people hear DWUW is radio. She started to not tweet or post on LittleMonsters too.

As I said I have no problem with Gaga. I love her and her albums and I listen. I do not care about charts or image but as a Mother Monster, I think at least she is responsible to little monsters.

The thing that bothers me is that whenever there seems to be something off behind the scenes she like disappears completely, making things for her fans even worse in my opinion. All we do at the moment is speculate, there are false or weird rumors everywhere, noone knows anything, we are just lost as her fans. She should keep our attention away from the negativity IMO, even fun tweets and selfies then and now help a lot, makes fans happy. But it really seems like all this crap has affected her this time...just hope that she's trying to get her things back on track and everything is sorted out for her third single and she's just busy working!
