Lol at Capitol trying to make Unconditionally happen with remixes. It's improving, but worldwide, it's dead in the water and nothing is going to save it now. And on itunes, I know it won't last for long, so I'll record the moment for prosperity...

13. Sara Bareilles - Brave 3080

14. Lady Gaga - Do What U Want (feat. R. Kelly) 3026

15. Katy Perry - Unconditionally 3024

I wasn't kidding when I said karma is coming back for Katy. Her second single being overtaken by the second single of the artist whose career she tried to sabotage by pipping her to the post with new material release dates shortly afterwards and being overtaken by the song she was accused of plagiarising. This truly is divine intervention and may well be an omen of what's to become of Prism's future.

Is True :applause:   Gaga was almost burned because of a vaguely resembling with Express Yourself and Roar is a shameless copy of Brave.

DWUW

#8 Canada

#9 United Kingdom

#10 Austria

#10 Germany

#14 United States

Some influential markets too so I hope theyre leading the way for a big global hit. Germany started Summertime Sadness, UK starts like half of the hits that go WW, and Canada+Aus (as many of us know) started Lady Gaga's Just Dance

Mess. Are you serious? :awkney:

No, I'm not being entirely serious with the religious slant, that was just me being a bit silly. But it's a well known fact that Katy rushed Prism so it could be out before ARTPOP. By all accounts, she was still on a break and was out the public eye, chilling. She only started working on Prism in November 2012 and even postponed planned sessions in 2013 to focus on her personal life. Like, just two months before she announced Roar, we had been told the album was only halfway done so all evidence pointed towards it being released next year. Gaga announced her debut single and album release dates in July, and less than a month later, Katy announces hers, and the lead single is conveniently a week before Gaga's and the album just under a month before Gaga's, even though the announcement came later. Coincidence? I think not. Prism is a rush-released album and it shows.

Exactly. Katy's turning into one of those artists who gets away with murder. Brave and Roar are even about the same subject - regaining confidence after someone's knocked it. It was a much more blatant rip-off but she got away with a slap on the wrist, it seems...until now, by the looks of it. Gaga may have endured hell for BTW but at least Express Yourself didn't rise above Judas on iTunes. Sara certainly has a strong will to brush away the whole scandal and move on with her career. If I were her, I'd have sued Katy for all she was worth and made sure I claimed royalties every time Roar was played.

i think you need to look up the definition of "fact" in a dictionary, because that is by no means a "well-known fact"

stop with the conspiracy theories... so boring
