What is OBAMA

Really? I thought that he will sell 700k or a huge number because the first week he usually sells a lot...

I'm so concerned about Gaga album sell, I really hope that she will sell 500k at least!

She hadn't the 1 with Applause and it's not fair, at least the best debut for a woman this year with the album!!!!!

i though you meant "The Monster"

The Monster is predicted to sell around 390-405k by sunday night

his album i dunno i guess his floor could be around 650-700k and his ceiling around 900k

meh it still gets a streaming banner

It's like Amazon discounting BTW to advertise their streaming service that tanked. lol. Maybe not as bad, but still, it would be advantageous to ARTPOP's sales if people could just stream it directly from iTunes rather than having to go the radio section or whatever to listen to it. Stans will do it, but casual listeners won't.

I don't think it will stream on iTunes radio though. If it does, doesn't that mean it's eligible to chart since iTunes radio is a streaming music service.

Can somebody explain the trend to me of why male artists usually sell more than female artists?

It's not true is you're comparing male and female pop artists of the same generation. Gaga and Rihanna vs Bruno

Rap and country tend to have album buyers more than itunes singles buyers, and rap is male-dominated.

Boy bands sell albums because girls have a crazy crush on them, in a way female artist can't duplicate. Their sales peak quickly and decline, because nobody else much likes them.
