Probably so after Judas's failure, the label didn't have to commit. They could release TEOG as a "promo-single," with the intention of sending it to the radio if it stuck. On the other hand, I'm extremely happy for DO WHAT U WANT being a single, cause I was worried VENUS and APPLAUSE would have to much similarities sound-wise, I mean they were both described as electro disco songs. DO WHAT U WANT cares the important sound difference, broader genre and format appeal and more relatable lyrics. I want her to hit No.1 on POP SONGS, and to sell 3,000,000 copies with this song in the USA alone.
