Sure, because most songs normally get 3+ million updates everyday, and then in the matter of a day start getting 0.1 million updates. That doesn't happen of audience reception is strong and the radio is playing the song because people actually want to hear it. That only happens when the payola stops coming in. And in Treasure's case, it looks like it stopped coming in at around 80 million. Defend the song all you want, but it's so obvious payola was in play here.

The song might continue to grow, but from here on out, it's going to require strong audience reception. If people aren't here for it, it'll fall. I'm really not trying to bash this song, because it has grown on me somewhat (still don't like the outdated feel to it, though). I'm not even trying to be a negative Nancy here. I'm just stating the obvious. I'm sorry if you're a Bruno stan and don't like what you're hearing.

Wow, she's WRITING it?? Go Britney! My anticipation for her next album just skyrocketed.

Just heard Ooh La La on the radio, and it doesn't sound half bad. My only problem is there's no build-up, and the song really doesn't go anywhere. But it has a great summery feel to it. And it's good to have a solo Britney song on the radio again. We only need Katy and Gaga to make this feel like 2011 again.

Sorry if this is rude to say but I didn't read this post. Still thank you.

This is NOT a Bruno thread. I'm sick and tired of seeing fights over him every day. If the off topic arguments over other artists continue, I'll ask Adam or Jase to just close this thread until August.

It's fine to discuss other acts, but the constant page-after-page focus on one act at a time is not okay and most of the time is NOT even chart related. Just leave it.

(This is not directed to any specific post or user, so don't get offended.)

I think I'm gonna buy ooh la la :emma: I'm interested to see how they're gonna market this song to her fanbase and fans.

It's science, bitch

yeah. Let's get over with it. I'm also sick of it.

I'm glad that Right Now is going to enter the top 200 very soon.

Oh La La will be sold along with a song called Vacation by newly formed girl group, GRL, who are signed to Dr. Luke's Kemosabe Records. It's actually a good song and I like it more than Oh La La. :emma:

Preview from the music video:

That's them standing next to Britney.

She confirmed today on Ryan Seacrest, as Bryan said, that her album IS slated for a Q4 release! :excited2: She said she'll be in the studio next week.

Oh La La is up to #146 on iTunes from the last update I checked.

#133 now. This is rising REALLY fast.

Oh, I should also mention that even though Oh La La is sold along with another song, it still appears ONLY as Oh La La on iTunes, so I believe it will be Britney charting alone on the Hot 100 and not alongside GRL.

I hope so... hmmm... I wonder if it can beat Blurred Lines though.

Do you think Rihanna's "Right Now" will reach top ten ? As far as I am concerned, I think the song will be played by radio over and over again and it has a chance to be a summer banger but on the other hand the song will not last long on top ten and will not sell more than two million copies in the USA.

What do you think? How would you imagine the video to this song?

P.S. Did you know that it was planned by Rihanna's crew to release the vid to "Pour it up" or is it just a rumor ? :)

Thanks in advance and share your thoughts about this song, please :)

I doubt it will beat Blurred Lines. It's WAY too massive right now to be overtaken. Top 3 is good enough for me and I think it's a solid position given the fact that the song that is currently dominating is FAR from reaching its peak.

Blurred Lines is a travesty to music. I can't believe it's selling nearly 400,000 copies a week.

Me either. But it's kind of catchy plus hiphop/urban/rnb songs have been dominating the charts this year so I guess I'm okay with that..

I'm not a fan of Blurred Lines either. I don't really see what is captivating about it. Doesn't really have anything that sticks with you, I really can't remember how it sounds like. :duck:

It's to the point where I can't stand hearing it when it comes on the radio, and sadly it's far from reaching it's peak  It's cool that Robin Thicke finally got a #1 single, but it's a shame this was the song to do it. He's had soooo many better singles.
