A bit provocatory. But not groundbreaking, some people have this problem. Borderline bulimia that never is quite It. I know couple person Who have this relationship with food. Here its amplified by the Everyone orders me things and food Just arrives.

Granted, that is a big reason why Ari is under more scrutiny, but I just find the double standard rather unfortunate. Like I wonder if Jameela Jamil or the NYT will write thinkpieces on him saying "I have issues with eating; I only eat to survive," which, imo, is much more harmful than what Ari is currently doing.

I'm curious why you think his is less insidious. I would think that him openly saying that he only eats to survive is much more insidious than Ari's body checking (though I can see how maybe him being open about it leaves less room for plausible deniability).
